Brian Taylor founder of The Mud Hutters ia a dedicated and strong individual who started off his natural building career with his head in every natural building book going. After two years of self education Brian went on an earthbag workshop in the mountains of Chiang Dao, Thailand. Taught by the queen of the crop, Paulina Wojciechowska he found the inspiration and love he needed to pursue his dream for natural building. There he went on to help build natural buildings of all shapes and sizes across Thailand.

A plumber by trade and working on construction sites since the age of 14 Brian had plenty of experience under his belt. Brian went on to build a magnificent 16 meter diameter one of a kind earthbag roundhouse in his wife's home village of Phia Ram. With the help of his wife Tukta Taylor, his close friend Jason Simmons and the best volunteers and local workers he could of asked for Brian was one step closer to his dream.

Brian and Tukta now run workshops all year round. With the help of Tukta's family they bring a way of building like no other. Their passion and love for natural building shows in their teachings.

They make learning fun!

If you want an experience like no other make that change and step off the beaten track.
