Life in Phia Ram is amazing. I cant think of anywhere on earth like it. A normal day in the village would start with dogs barking, roosters calling and the local meat and vegetable trucks screaming out of the megaphones selling the freshest produce money can buy. This all goes on at the break of dawn when the light has barely touched down on the dusty streets.
Village Life
Throughout the day you will be drawn to smells and sounds which your senses have never experienced before. Locals shocked at your presence but so willing to offer you a seat at their dinner table. There is always something to see here in Phia Ram not only the monks, elephants and temples but village life never passes a day without the typical village drama.
The locals are out in force. Whether its preparing breakfast for loved ones or tending to their buffalo the village is alive. Monks on their morning prayer and children racing to school on their bicycles all doing so with great respect for one another.

Thailand has always been close to my heart for many reasons but I can truly say this little village has touched it in a way I didnt think was possible. Sharing knowledge and experiences with people has always been a passion of mine and I hope by sharing this little village it will inspire and open peoples eyes to a more simple and healthy way of living.
Much love x
